KMC About

A school,
not a franchise.

Krav Maga Complete is an independent school led by a single instructor — every class is taught, never delegated. We've trained adults, teens and juniors across Blackpool and the Fylde coast since 2014.

01 / The instructor

Trained where it was built. Teaching where you live.

KMC's lead instructor trained directly under the Krav Maga Global lineage — the system established by Eyal Yanilov, head instructor and closest student to the late Imi Lichtenfeld, founder of Krav Maga. Over a decade of teaching civilians, security and youth in the North West, with regular grading trips to international training camps.

Every KMC class is led personally — not by a rotating cast of assistants. You learn the same way every time, from the same person, with a curriculum that builds on itself.

03 / Philosophy

Three things we believe.

01

Train as you'll fight.

Realistic distances, real clothing, real attacks. The drill on the floor is the situation in the street — not a stylised version of it.

02

Decisive, then gone.

The goal isn't to win the fight. It's to neutralise the threat and disengage. Krav Maga teaches you how to leave.

03

No belts. No ceremony.

We grade through the KMG P-system but the floor stays informal. You're not buying belts — you're earning capability.

04 / Why Krav Maga

Built for civilians.
Tested by everyone else.

It assumes the worst.

Most martial arts assume a sporting context — equal opponent, no surprise, no weapons. Krav Maga assumes you're caught off-guard, against someone bigger, possibly armed, possibly with friends.

It's instinctive.

Techniques are built on how the body naturally flinches under threat. You're not learning unnatural movements — you're refining ones you'd already make.

It scales.

A 13-year-old defending against a school bully and a 45-year-old defending against a bag-snatcher use the same principles, scaled to their context.

It's lived in, not learned.

After enough training, the responses become automatic. You stop "doing Krav Maga" and start moving the way Krav Maga taught you to move.
