01 / Self-defence that's real

Trained under
pressure.

A lot of "self-defence" falls apart the moment someone pushes back. The difference between a technique that looks good in a hall and one that works on a Saturday night in town is how you train it: in normal clothes, at close range, against a partner who actually resists.

That's the whole philosophy behind Krav Maga, the system we teach. You'll learn to manage distance, recognise danger early, de-escalate where you can, and respond decisively when you can't. We cover the situations that matter — being grabbed, cornered, choked, or threatened — and we build contact gradually so you stay safe while you learn.

It suits everyone: commuters and night-shift workers who want peace of mind, students heading off on their own, parents wanting their kids to be more aware, and complete beginners who've never trained anything. Does it really work? →

04 / Common questions

Before you
book.

Do self-defence classes actually work?

Good ones do. The key is training under realistic conditions against resisting partners, not choreographed routines — which is exactly how Krav Maga is built. Consistency matters too: skills become reliable with regular practice.

How long until I can defend myself?

You'll learn usable basics in your first few sessions, and most people feel genuinely more confident within a few months. Krav Maga is designed to be learned fast.

Are classes suitable for women?

Yes — especially. The system assumes a smaller, weaker defender, so it relies on leverage and targeting, not strength. See our women's self-defence classes →

What does it cost?
